Hi-I have less to lose and don’t consider myself a “food addict”, if fact I eat very healthy, however I do over eat and have gradually put on 15 lbs over the years and don’t want it to continue. I have tw0 questions: 1.Would this be an appropriate plan for me given that I have less to lose 2.I’m quite active and wonder if the number of items suggested would be enough?

    Hi Brenda,
If the scale continues to go up, even if you’re eating “healthy”, you’re eating more than you’re able to burn and your body converts the extra food to fat. Whatever cannot be utilized gets converted to fat. Carrying around extra weight is not healthy. .
Yes. The Program would be very appropriate for you to experience. . and 2) the amount of food would eventually be enough but you wouldn’t want to jump forward. . You’d want to do each of the steps and lose weight gradually . . By the time you are smaller the portion and the number of items would be smaller too. It’s a process. Exercise is good for your head and for your heart but it won’t help you lose weight.
Let me know if you want more information about telephone sessions.

How much does your phone session program cost? I have eaten myself up to 293lbs in 12 years!! I was 175 when I got married 12 years ago!!! I injured my back the year after I got married and spent 4 years in pain doing nothing but slowly eating my way to the grave! Even after I had surgery to fix my back injury during the fourth year I still continued down a self destructive path of food addiction! I had a break through tonight after jogging on the treadmill I decided I wanted a late night snack!! My husband was watching me and I new I did not need anything but looked in the fridge and saw some left over rice!! It was on… My brain took over as I told myself NO and closed the door to the fridge! My body got upset and I felt the anxiety come racing in! I was literally fighting with myself over some damn white rice at 11:30 at night??? Really….. I have always been the one to say “I am not an emotional eater nor am I addicted to food!” LOL…. The truth has never been more clear to me then now! I need help and I know this is going to be a hard fight to fix this issue!!

You’re clearly speaking about a food addiction. .Just the fact that you’re fighting with yourself over some “damn” white rice and aware of what you’re doing and how amazing that is, means that you are aware of what is happening and have identified the problem, is good news in finding the solution. Give me a call and we can chat about some things you can do to conquer your food addiction. It’s a process that entails skills you can learn.

Hi Caryl, are you still offering your phone program? I am in my mid-thirties, female, and I have a lot of weight to lose… Over 200 pounds, sadly. I was very overweight as a child, I have never known anything different but I want to with all of my heart and soul, please believe me. If your program can help someone with such a large problem, please let me know. I am done with being this way, and I am willing to put in the work to change; I am incredibly overwhelmed and do not know where to start.
